Mr Dave was an amazing doctor and surgeon. From the start of the diagnosis to the after care from surgery I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and helpful doctor. He was clear and concise with his diagnosis and explanation of what needed to happen and answered all my questions. He even had a box of tissues handy when I needed them. He is a very compassionate and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone going through breast cancer.

Mr Dave is kind, compassionate and has always taken his time to fully explain all my options in a clear, professional and jargon free manner. He was happy to answer questions & re explain my opinions as many times as I asked. It was clear from the number of woman in clinic each time I visited that he was extremely busy but I never felt rushed during my appointments or that I was “just a number”. I truly believe Mr Dave cared about my situation and wanted to ensure I got the best treatment both medically and cosmetically and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I trusted Mr Dave from my first appointment and would highly recommend him, he is a very talented surgeon.

I met Mr Dave to receive my results from my biopsy earlier this year. From the initial consultation where he explained my diagnosis of breast cancer he has explained everything clearly in terms that I understand and how he will treat the cancer. His communication throughout has been clear and concise explaining everything I need to know in a way I understand. He has always discussed the line of action and always checked I’m happy and clear with what was going to happen at each step. I have been extremely anxious at appointments and Mr Dave has always had a calming manner showing respect throughout, putting me at ease which meant I always felt valued. He has been reassuring throughout each consultation. He has always answered questions honestly and shared his insights and knowledge with us. Mr Dave explained he would carry out a lumpectomy and a therapeutic mastopexy which would give me the best cosmetic appearance after surgery. I could not be happier with the outcome of the surgery. I feel great trust in Mr Dave and I am extremely grateful for the treatment and care he has provided me with along with the consultations where he put me at ease. I would highly recommend Mr Dave, he has been outstanding throughout.

I first met Mr Dave in January this year after being diagnosed with early breast cancer. I was seen at The Nightingale Centre in Wythenshaw Greater Manchester. I met with Mr Dave on a number of occasions to discuss my biopsy results & necessary surgery to remove my DCSI. After my first surgery I did not receive clear margins so I underwent further surgery 6 weeks later. During this rollercoaster of emotions Mr Dave was extremely helpful in making my decision making easier - giving me options which were easy to understand & not blinded with science. He compassionately spoke in a clear, honest, non patronising, humane & empathetic manner. I never felt under pressure at any time & I left my appointment with a clear definite plan of action - my questions were always answered honestly & I never felt rushed during my construction. I would highly recommend Mr Dave to anyone who needs surgery. He is extremely talented, clever & I felt that he wanted to perform the best outcome possible both medically & cosmetically. I am absolutely over the moon with my reconstruction & I couldn’t have asked for a better result. Thanks to Mr Dave & all the team at The Nightingale Centre my DCSI has been removed & the plan of action is yearly check ups & hormone therapy for the next 5 years. However Mr Dave did emphasise that I can contact them at any time which is very reassuring. In all honesty I cannot think of any recommendations or improvements. My treatment has been faultless even though COVID is still looming & prevalent. My treatment was never delayed & I cannot thank Mr Dave & the team enough.

A very professional and meticulous surgeon with a great ability to make a patient feel he cares, not just about the outcome of surgery/treatment but also about her feelings.
